I'm moving on, for the time being, from cartoon characters. Since my drawing skills are improving, I decided to move to dragons as they are more complex to draw. The drawings I uploaded recently are just simple dragon body designs and poses.

For the past week, I've been working on a more detailed dragon. I hope to have it finished and uploaded by week's end. I won't be coloring anything again for a while. I just want to concentrate on my drawing skills right now. Then I'll work on shading, coloring and other fancy art things.

After dragons, I'll move on to human anatomy. From there, I should have enough experience to try something original. Hopefully that will be sometime early next year but I won't rush things. It'll happen when I'm ready not before.

Oh, my book based on my poem, The Pirate's Tale, is on hold for the time being. Drawing is where it's at for now. Maybe someday the book will emerge. But for now, the poem will be it's own thing.

I still hope to create an Ozy & Mille story when my drawing skills are good enough. Perhaps by this time next year I can start work on that.
